Born in Sherbrooke, into an incredibly lucrative family. Attempting to become a surgeon due to his intense need to be deemed a success in the eyes of his father, despite hating him. Can learn incredibly easy, and attends lectures very little, but does very well in school. Loved to dissect animals in high school, and decided he wanted to go into the medical field because of this. Has killed 27 people by the end of it all. Has interest in horror/thrillers, as well as foliage and flowers. Reads a lot, but almost all of it is non-fiction, or textbooks. Smokes because he thinks it makes him look cool (it does) but only does it around other people. Mostly smokes du Maurier, and likes the vintage ones the most, so tries to find them whenever he can.
Terrible childhood. Father (Charles Greene II) was/is abusive, physically and mentally. Father is the root of almost every problem Dwayne has ever had in his entire life. Trained like a dog to be perfect and act a very specific way, yet despite this was still hated by his father. Mother (Paola Greene) was timid, but complicit in this abuse, as she did not want to be the one on the receiving end. Main outlet as a child was either inflicting pain on animals, or reading.
Has one sister, Evelyn Greene. She moved out years before Dwayne, and often stood up to their father to try and help Dwayne, but this often made the abuse worse. She is 5 years older than Dwayne. Dwayne has very little contact with his family, other than the biweekly allowance sent by mail. He lives in the house that belonged to his grandmother who passed away, which is close to a mansion.
His family patented the design for a camera that is used by the military. This was created by his grandfather, but the family has been wealthy long before this patent, as they were oil barons before this. Dwayne wants nothing to do with this business, but appreciates the extra cash.
Has religious trauma, as he was often sent to church as punishment by his father so that he could pray until he acted right (he didn’t do anything wrong to begin with). Father would pay a priest to speak down to Dwayne and tell him that if he didn’t act right he would surely go to hell, and would often hit him and force him to his knees to pray. Dwayne looks to God, who he has not believed in since the age of 8, to try and get help for the obsession that has brewed within him, and to stop him from killing. May partially like the aesthetics of catholic churches as well, but he would never admit that.
